On this platform we collect personal data from users and anyone who contacts us in order to offer the service, answer queries and, in the case of users, to enable them to use the platform in the best possible way. Therefore, we comply with the provisions of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, Law 3/2018 of December 5, Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD) and other applicable regulations and inform you that GLOSS IT (TERSOAL IT SLU) performs processing of personal data collected through the forms on our website. Therefore, GLOSS IT, whose contact details are provided below, will be Personal Data Processing Manager under the terms set out in the GDPR.

What data do we collect?

In each form on the website we ask you to provide information according to your profile and the relationship you will have with us (user, customer, contact...). This information is essential for you to be able to use the platform in all its different ways, and we guarantee that it will only be used for the purposes indicated below and with the utmost security.

If you do not fill in all the fields you will probably not be able to register.

Although part of our platform is for payment, we do not store any card or bank account data. We use secure payment gateways for payments.

Purpose

The personal data collected through the website https://glossit.online will be processed for the purpose of:

  • Manage your request for information Manage your request for information and/or consultation if you contact us either directly or through the forms on our website.
  • If you are a user (translator, publisher...) you will have to fill in a form in which we will ask you for some minimum details so that you can register and use the platform.
  • If you use our "Term Hunter" or any other service that involves payment, we will only use the data to perform the service, collect payment and comply with our legal obligations.
  • If you are a supplier, we will manage the data you provide us with in order to establish a professional/commercial relationship with you.
  • We will be able to send you information about the services of our platform and our activities if you have a previous contractual relationship with us. That is, if you are a user, customer or supplier, we will send you information, but you will always be able to unsubscribe if you do not want to receive it.

We will keep your data for the time necessary to comply with the purposes expressed and with our legal obligations. Once this period of time has elapsed, we will proceed to delete it.

What is the legitimacy to process your data?

If you contact us, you consent to the processing of your data so that we can attend to you and provide you with the information you need.

In the case of users and customers, we need some minimum data to be able to register you in the platform and to be able to use it and in the context of the execution of the contract that this use implies, including payment. However, this registration is always done with your consent.

If you are a provider, the contractual relationship between us and the compliance with our legal obligations is also legitimate.

For the sending of commercial information by electronic means we base our legitimate interest on the provisions of Article 21.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce.

To whom will we communicate your data? In principle to no one

The platform is designed so that only you can give other users access to your glossaries.

We will not pass on your details to third parties except in those cases where, either due to legal obligations (public administrations) or for the actual execution of the contract, it is necessary to communicate the details to third parties (financial institutions, payment methods and services, insurance companies and other third parties whose intervention may be necessary for the execution of the contract).

It is possible that we use third party means and tools (hosting, servers, management applications...) but we have made sure that all of them comply with data protection regulations (through the corresponding service agreements and specific conditions) and we have tried to ensure that all of them are within the territory of the European Union and with the best security.

For your information we work with Digital Ocean, Google, Sendinblue, Hubspot, Hotjar and Stripe. Some of them are in the United States, but they have subscribed the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by European Commission.

We also work with providers that provide us with legal and accounting advice. With all of them we have contracts that guarantee the confidentiality of the information.

Do you know your rights? We guarantee them

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, suppression and opposition, as well as the right to limit and keep your personal data by writing to the registered office of GLOSS IT or to the e-mail address gdpr@glossit.online, enclosing in both cases a copy of your ID card.

You may also revoke your consent in the event that the processing of your personal data is based on the consent.

We inform you that in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR you have the right to file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency. However, at GLOSS IT we take this privacy issue very seriously and will try to resolve any questions regarding your personal data by emailing gdpr@glossit.online

We have taken the necessary security measures to protect the information and your personal data and to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the information and taking into account the risks. We also periodically review our systems and our compliance to ensure that we are doing things right.
